Karaage Squid Tentacles
A focused Drum Breader application for all-round powder coverage on irregular squid tentacles.
Rotating drum action helps powder reach bends, curls, and uneven tentacle texture.
Excess powder stays in circulation instead of leaving with the product.
VFD-controlled motion adapts coating intensity to tentacle size and powder type.
About Karaage Squid Tentacles
CMK's karaage squid tentacle solution centers on the Drum Breader when irregular seafood needs one compact coating machine. The rotating drum tumbles curled tentacles through powder or fine crumb so bends, edges, and suction-cup texture receive all-round coverage without heavy manual handling.
The drum breader suits irregular seafood products and fine powders such as karaage flour, wheat flour, and starch. Adjustable drum speed, controlled powder circulation, and clump screening help reduce powder waste and keep finished tentacles clean at stable throughput.
Production Workflow
How the Drum Breader Works
- 01
Feed
Squid tentacles enter the rotating drum with a controlled powder bed. The compact layout keeps product transfer short before coating.
- 02
Tumble
The drum rotates at adjustable speed, tumbling tentacles through karaage flour, wheat flour, starch, or other fine powders for even coverage.
- 03
Separate
Excess powder remains in the machine, while powder clumps are screened and recovered separately so they do not discharge with finished tentacles.
